Cult of the visual

Cult of the visual installation and close ups (1.5 x 4 m)

'The cult of the visual' depicts a period when governments create spheres to exert influence over as many sections of the globe as possible - a time characterized by an increase in government-funded scientific and technological advancements.  That created certain foundations for our "visual addicted society". The framework questions our constant stream of pictures, their influence, and how we deal with them (like, swipe, share, and forget) are all explored in the framework, as well as our visual (il)literacy.
