Cult of the visual

Cult of the visual installation and close ups (1.5 x 4 m)

Cult of the visual depicts a period of time where governments established spheres to influence as many parts of the world as possible. A period that saw an expansion of state-funded scientific and technologic developments, where certain cornerstones of our ‘visual addicted society’ were founded. The framework questions our constant stream of images, their influence and how we deal with them (like, swipe, share and forget) but also how visual (il)literate were are.
